What is Meditation for me?

Meditation is a sacred time.

A time of listening to the sound of my breath. A time of stepping away from the chaos of the world and simply being. A time of putting myself first, of honouring my need for peace, my need for stillness, and my need to connect. A time to surrender to the now.

Meditation is a time of regulation. It is not a fancy gimmick. Meditation is a tool for life. It teaches you that you are more than the chaos surrounding you. It teaches you that you are the universe, that you are expansion.

In the silence of meditation, the whispers of your own wisdom can finally be heard.

To my mind, meditation is calming.

To my emotions, meditation is soothing.

To my body, meditation is relaxation.

To my soul, meditation is nourishment.

“Meditation is dropping all the labels and expectations that are placed upon you — as a husband, wife, mother, child, worker, whatever your role may be — and simply being you.

Meditation is coming home to yourself.”

My meditation groups are intentionally kept small, usually around 10 people, creating a safe and supportive space where everyone can feel comfortable and seen.

Sessions last approximately one hour and no previous meditation experience is needed. You do not need to sit cross-legged on the floor unless that feels comfortable for you. Most people choose to sit in a chair, and online participants are free to relax in whatever way feels right for them.

Each session begins with a brief introduction and often a card reading to provide a theme or focus for the group. From there, I gently guide you into a meditative state using relaxation, breath awareness, visualisation, energy awareness and transformational guidance.

I work with the chakra system and invite connection with your higher wisdom, guides and spiritual support team in a way that feels natural and comfortable for each individual. My intention is always to help you reconnect with yourself, access your own inner guidance and create space for healing, clarity and insight.

Every meditation experience is unique. Some people feel deeply relaxed, some receive inspiration or guidance, and others simply enjoy an hour of peace away from the demands of everyday life.

One-to-one meditation sessions and online courses are also available for those who would like a more personal experience or wish to explore their journey more deeply.
